Our economic evaluations of mental health interventions and tailored methodological research supports service provision in this area of rapidly growing demand.

We study people’s preferences for health and healthcare to understand choices, trade-offs, and behaviour, and to inform design of healthcare and health policies.
Diabetes and cardiovascular disease
Our analyses help policy-makers make evidence-based, cost-effective decisions for prevention and management of these high-burden diseases.
Acute and critical care
We promote the inclusion of economic analyses in acute and critical care research, and create seamless solutions for researchers to incorporate these.
Sexual health
Together with our colleagues at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, we deliver economic analyses to support sexual health care, with a strong emphasis on marginalized or at-risk populations.
Loneliness and social isolation
We are leading an NHMRC funded project to develop a holistic priority setting approach for chronic disease management to tackle loneliness and social isolation in Australia.
