Filming and Photography on Campus

The University is a popular location for filming and photography, with a diverse range of locations available both indoors and outdoors. To film or photograph on campus, all requests must first be approved by Buildings and Property,

A Location Agreement (DOC 41KB) must also be provided to the Venue Services team. Complete the booking request form for review and approval.

Remember to always obtain approval by all who are filmed or photographed by having them sign the Adult Release: Still or Moving Images form

Media Enquiries

Media wishing to film or photograph on campus must contact the media team for approval by emailing media@monash.edu or phoning +61 3 9903 4840.

Campus Security has the right to refuse entry or to ask media crews to leave Monash University premises if prior approval has not been obtained.

Media must ensure that students, staff and visitors entering and exiting the campus are not able to be identified in any footage or photographs captured.

Commercial and Personal Filming on Campus
