Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds another layer of security to your data by verifying your identity when you log into My.App.
When you register your mobile number for MFA, we’ll send a one-time code to your mobile device for your use to log in. We’ll send a fresh code every time you log in.
This means, if somebody has your login details, unless they have your mobile phone as well, they won’t be able to log in.
Your personal data is important. By registering for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), you can be sure that it’s only you logging into your account and accessing your data.
Our system limits the number of messages sent out for a single user per hour. If you have attempted too many verifications, you will see this message: Unable to send you a verification code at this time. You may have attempted too many verifications in the last hour. Please try again later.
Once the hour is up you will be able to try again.
If you are experiencing issues logging into My.App please contact use the Live Chat function or call Monash Connect or chat with us.
In addition to the purposes set out in the Admissions Privacy Collection Statement , the number you register for MFA will be used to send you a unique code when you log in so that we know it's you.
