This unit may count towards your postgraduate or undergraduate degree as a major, capstone or elective unit.

Experience the energy and rapid transformation of one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies on the Vietnam Study Tour. Based in Hanoi, this immersive program provides students with the opportunity to explore a dynamic business environment shaped by foreign investment, entrepreneurship and increasing global integration.

Through a combination of academic engagement and industry exposure, students will examine key themes including market entry strategy, branding in emerging markets, sustainable development, and the role of government and international partnerships in economic growth.

Participants will engage with a range of organisations and institutions to gain real-world insights into Vietnam’s evolving economy. Company visits and guest sessions may include local and multinational organisations, professional services firms, and emerging industries such as technology, manufacturing and green energy.

The program also incorporates cultural and community-based experiences, enabling students to better understand the social and cultural context in which business operates. From city exploration to immersive regional experiences, students will develop cross-cultural capability and a deeper appreciation of doing business in Southeast Asia.

Students are required to attend a pre-departure briefing on a date and location to be advised.
