Graduate Recruitment Immersion Program (GRIP)

The Graduate Recruitment Immersion Program (GRIP) is a fully simulated graduate recruitment experience designed exclusively for Monash Business School students.

Rather than learning about recruitment in theory, GRIP allows you to experience a typical graduate recruitment process from start to finish in a collaborative, supportive and feedback-driven environment.

Delivered in partnership between the Monash Business School Graduate Development Team and leading graduate recruitment consultancy Amberjack, GRIP provides an authentic insight into how leading employers assess and select graduate talent.

Across the program, you will move through each stage of a simulated recruitment process, gaining practical experience, structured guidance, and personalised feedback to ensure you feel confident and prepared when applying for real graduate roles.

What are the benefits?

By participating in GRIP, you will gain:

  • First-hand experience of a graduate recruitment process
  • Increased awareness of how employers assess performance
  • Personalised, actionable feedback to improve future applications
  • Greater confidence entering real graduate recruitment cycles
  • The opportunity to learn directly from graduate recruitment specialists
  • Enhanced employability skills, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and professional presentation

Many students who complete GRIP go on to secure graduate roles, and the following insights from former GRIP participants show how the program gives them clarity, confidence, and a real edge in the recruitment process.
