Monash Business School Case Program

Monash Business School Case Program

Our case program equips students with essential skills for careers in consulting and professional services. Through tailored training, the program prepares and sends teams to represent Monash in domestic and international case competitions.

What is a case?

A case is a structured business scenario that provides:

  • an overview of a real or hypothetical company
  • context on its operations and customer base
  • key financial or strategic data
  • a challenge or question for students to solve.

What is a case competition?

A case competition is an event where student teams analyse and present solutions to real-world business problems within a limited timeframe. Teams develop strategic recommendations and present to a panel of industry professionals and academics.  Case competitions help students apply their learning, sharpen key skills, and grow their professional network.
