Monash Tax Clinic

Eligible students can get real work experience with the Monash Tax Clinic

Express your interest in an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the Monash Tax Clinic – part of the ATO-funded National Tax Clinic Program - which provides a free service for unrepresented and vulnerable clients.

If you are eligible to join the program, you will gain authentic experience under the supervision and mentorship of an experienced tax practitioner while providing tax assistance to clients. As a Tax Clinic student volunteer, you will assist clients to better understand the tax system, with the lodgement of tax returns, and in interactions with the Australian Taxation Office. As well as being directly involved in client work, you may also undertake research and development such as finding and creating appropriate resources for potential clients - all while being eligible for academic credit.
