A Novel Adaptive Prosthetic Finger Design with Scalability

Congratulations to Shao for the acceptance of the manuscript, A Novel Adaptive Prosthetic Finger Design with Scalability, to be presented at The 16th IFToMM World Congress (WC2023). This work discusses a prosthetic finger design, the compliant five-link epicyclic finger, that demonstrates both the anthropomorphic flexion-extension trajectory of a human finger and the grasping adaptability. Our finger design also emphasizes scalability, filling the need for a suitable prosthetic finger for children eight years old or younger.
