Our researchers are among the world's foremost research authorities in designing for health. We have extensive experience in working with commercial and industry partners as well as state, national and healthcare providers around the world.

We’ve worked with major brands and industry partners including Blundstone, the iconic boot brand, to create a smart shoe for healthcare workers; Cochlear, a leader in implantable hearing devices, to create a range charging device; award-winning X-Ray company Micro-X on a mobile stroke imager designed to fit into standard ambulances, as well as bionic vision system aims to provide artificial vision to blind individuals for Monash Vision Group. We’ve also worked with the World Health Organisation, the Victorian Department of Health, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, Monash Health, Cabrini Health, Alfred Health and Turning Point.

As part of Monash University, we have strong creative, institutional and academic networks with a diverse range of disciplines. We lead the University’s Future Healthcare program, drawing upon interdisciplinary expertise to co-design new healthcare systems and technologies.

We work across various platforms locally and internationally including the Alliance for Digital Health at Monash (ADAM), the Tuscan Health Ecosystem through the University's Prato campus, Monash Sustainable Development Institute alongside upskill organisations like the Australian National Fabrication Facility.
