Monash Art, Design and Architecture is running an exciting program of events as part of Melbourne Design Week 2022. Featuring talks, workshops, book launches, research releases, workshops, forums, exhibitions and more.
Highlights include: Mapping Melbourne Medtech looking at design collaborations in healthcare with Associate Professor Leah Heiss; Making Inclusive Spaces with XYX Lab; Retro-Fit Kit: a simulated accessible home installed in MADA Gallery; the Public Works Symposium on architecture for the public good at Collingwood Yards; Queer Indie Gaming with Xavier Ho at the Victorian Pride Centre; as well as an experience day for budding designers in Years 10-12 at Caulfield campus.

Melbourne Design Week is an annual 11-day program of talks, tours, exhibitions and workshops that celebrate and interrogate design through its varied disciplines The 2022 program is a call-to-action to celebrate the diverse ways design can work towards a better future. Two pillars – civic good and making good – provide a focused exploration of the main theme.
