Celebrating 2022

A message from the Dean, Monash Art, Design and Architecture, Professor Shane Murray.

As I reflect on 2022, from awards and discoveries to books, exhibitions and impact, Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA) has had a very successful year. It has been great to see staff and students back on campus working together despite the on-going Covid-related stresses.

MADA staff and students have been recognised by Monash University, the Fulbright Program, and industry, and have collaborated on national and international projects that have made a huge impact on communities.

Our research continues to align with Impact 2030 with great results. Explore some of our research highlights from this year in our research magazine R:ADAR. The latest edition focuses on geopolitical security, conflicts, colonisation and gender inequalities, in the Power and Equity issue.
