Our vision

The Gukwonderuk Indigenous Health Workforces Centre's vision is to create health workforces that meet the health and wellbeing needs of Indigenous peoples. We provide education, engagement and research contributions that address and serve the needs of Indigenous people and communities. Our work is informed by Indigenous knowledge and futures.

Gukwonderuk (Wotjobaluk), is an important cure-all medicine used by Aboriginal people in South East Australia; the word translates to wise old plant or old man weed. Read more here.
