Robert MeekA/Prof Robert Meek (Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor; Emergency research and medical student teaching co-ordinator, Dandenong ED) has experience in conducting a number of clinical trials with an emphasis on determining the suitability and efficacy of analgesics and antiemetics used for common ED presentations.  Recent publications
Julia MorphetA/Prof Julia Morphet (Associate Professor, Nursing & Midwifery, Monash University). Julia leads two programs of research. The first is focused on health workforce, in particular, preparation for practice, simulation in teaching, transition to speciality practice, and management of occupational violence in healthcare. The second program is focused on the patient experience in the emergency department, in particular, patient flow models. She has had more than 50 research papers published and has supervised 22 students to completion of higher degrees.  Recent publications
Bernice Redley A/Prof Bernice Redley (Associate Professor) is an experienced Emergency nurse with over 25 years experience in clinical and education roles within the Emergency Department, and a  Nurse Researcher with national and international recognition for her research in areas of complex patient safety problems in acute clinical practice settings. Her research has examined inter-professional teamwork and communication, patient and staff experience, healthcare technology and solutions to prevent avoidable harms during hospitalisation. She brings a unique combination of expertise from extensive experience working in university-health service partnerships, as well as clinical, academic, policy and leadership roles in hospital, education, Government and university settings.
Katie WalkerA/Prof Katie Walker (Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor; Emergency physician, Casey Hospital, Berwick, Cabrini Hospital, Malvern) has a strong interest in health services research, innovation, medical technology and information technology advances and is the Senior Investigator of Operations/Health Services Research group.

Emergency Physician, Monash Medical Centre and Cabrini Hospital EDs) is involved in driving research in examining the efficiency and suitability of diagnostic testing practices in EDs and the qualitative analyses of patient ED experiences.  Recent publications
Diane FloodDr Diane Flood (Senior Adjunct Lecturer) is an Emergency Physician at Monash Paediatric ED and Dandenong ED.  Medical education, paediatrics and women in medicine are her areas of interest. Dr Flood is involved in the education of the emergency trainees, and in particular those sitting the fellowship OSCE and Primary Exam. She holds a number of college appointments including being a member of the court of examiners for the Australiasia College of Emergency Medicine and also the Fellowship OSCE writing committee.
Cliff ConnellDr Cliff Connell (Lecturer) has spent the last 24 years as an emergency nurse, Emergency Department clinical nurse educator, university lecturer and researcher. Currently a Monash Nursing and Midwifery postdoctoral research fellow and Monash Emergency Research Fellow, Cliff’s research interests focus on patient safety, deteriorating patient outcomes, emergency care, teamwork and evidence‐based education. Cliff’s postdoctoral work is translational research aimed at improving outcomes for deteriorating Emergency Department patients and patients admitted to the ward via Emergency Department. In particular, he is exploring Emergency Department patient safety culture, Emergency Department specific rapid response systems and team roles.  Recent publications
Danny Ben-EliDr Danny Ben-Eli (Adjunct Lecturer) is an Emergency Physician and Trauma consultant, at Monash Medical Centre and Alfred Hospital. He is an educator and previous Director of Training at MMC. Dr Ben-Eli regularly teaches on Alfred’s The Procedure Course and on National Trauma Research Institute's (NTRI) international programs in China. He is also a member of the Court of Examiners of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and held number of appointments on college committees. His interests include education and research in Emergency Medicine and Trauma education, and use of POCUS in trauma and critical care. Recent publications
Khin Moe Sam Dr Khin Sam (Adjunct lecturer; Emergency Physician, Dandenong Hospital Emergency Department) is involved in quality and safety projects at Dandenong ED and is also a paediatric research lead at Dandenong Hospital ED. She has keen interest in Quality Assurance and Toxicology Research.
Ananth SundaralingamDr Ananth Sundaralingam (Adjunct Lecturer) is an Emergency Physician at both Monash Medical Centre and Dandenong Hospital along with work in Private Emergency Departments. He has developed an interest in clinical education and currently is assisting with the exam preparation of specialist registrar’s in addition to his normal role in training medical students and junior doctors.

Richard HaydonDr Richard Haydon (Adjunct Lecturer) is an Emergency Physician with particular passions for critical care, education, and rational medicine. He is very interested in research that demonstrates the utility/futility of medical interventions and understands the limitations of statistical interpretation within the medical literature.
