Dr Tegwyn McManamny

Tegwyn McManamny is a registered paramedic with specialisations in intensive care paramedicine and in-patient safety. She joined Monash University in 2012 as a Teaching Associate, working in undergraduate and postgraduate paramedicine courses. She holds an Honours degree in Emergency Health (Paramedicine) from Monash University which focused on occupational risks in undergraduate paramedic clinical placements, and a PhD from Monash University Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine focused on rural health, gerontology and prehospital health education. Research interests include rural and regional health, mixed methods research, patient safety and experience and older adults. Tegwyn is a Member of the Australasian College of Paramedicine and an Associate Editor for the journal Paramedicine and sits on a number of Committees relating to human research ethics, acute care and patient safety and quality.
