Biography
Adjunct Associate Professor Paul Jennings is a Registered Paramedic (Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance Paramedic) with Ambulance Victoria (AV), where he works as an Improvement Lead. He holds adjunct Associate Professor appointments in both the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine and the Department of Paramedicine, Monash University. In addition, Paul is a Clinical Advisor and Authorised Panel Member to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency’s Board of Paramedicine.
Paul holds a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology, a Juris Doctor degree in law and a PhD in epidemiology where he examined the epidemiology and management of pain in the prehospital setting. Paul's research interests include clinical epidemiology, acute and persistent pain, out-of-hospital resuscitation, legal and ethical issues in emergency care and evidence based practice. Paul has authored over 70 peer reviewed publications and 7 book chapters.
