The Opportunity
Join our team as a Research Fellow within the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC), where you'll collaborate closely with the Health Economics Program Lead. Be at the forefront of cutting-edge health economics research, focusing on economic evaluations alongside adaptive platform trials. Your role will involve contributing to the development of research projects and applications for competitive funding.
As a Research Fellow, you'll delve into health economics research linked to clinical trials, demonstrating your expertise either as a team member or independently. Your responsibilities will include conducting cost-effectiveness analyses, and utilising appropriate methodologies to evaluate the efficiencies of various clinical trial designs. From comprehensive literature reviews to data analysis and the production of scientific publications, you'll contribute significantly to advancing our understanding of health economics in the context of clinical research.
We are seeking someone with an honours degree in statistics or health economics, or equivalent qualifications, along with demonstrated analytical and manuscript preparation skills. Also, your expertise in software packages like STATA, R, and/or TreeAge will be invaluable.
