Elisa Wood is a Research Officer with the Monash Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health (MonCOEH) and is primarily involved with the Health Watch study. She has a Masters Degree in Pharmacology and has (recently) returned to the School after working at the University of Queensland Dental Epidemiolgy Unit for several years. Elisa has also worked in the Pharmacology Department at the Alfred Hospital, and has undertaken several studies aimed at optimising aminoglycoside antibiotic usage. Elisa's previous studies in the Department have included the absorption of arsenic from exposure in rural Victoria.
