We provide teaching expertise in all areas of occupational and environmental health, offering postgraduate, undergraduate and doctoral training and a short course program.

Postgraduate study

MonCOEH coordinates two postgraduate courses:

Our courses meet the relevant tertiary qualifications requirement under the Advanced Training Program of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians.Australian OHS Education Accreditation Board

The Graduate Diploma and Master of Occupational and Environmental Health courses have been re-accredited by the Australian Occupational Health and Safety Education Accreditation Board in its second cycle from 2019–2023.

Short course

The Monash Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine is designed for occupational medicine trainees and GPs who assess patients with work-related problems. The course objectives include (but are not limited to) providing the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose occupational diseases, perform medical assessments, and write a medicolegal report.

Undergraduate study

MonCOEH coordinates the Occupational Medicine and Environmental Medicine units in the five-year Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine degree.

PhD program

MonCOEH has opportunities for completing a PhD on a range of research projects.
