Emily's background at Monash University includes roles within the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences as both a Research Assistant in lab based research within the Department of Physiology and as a Clinical Trial Coordinator within the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. More recently, Emily joined the University's Industry Engagement and Commercialisation group as a Commercial Associate where she explored facets of research commercialisation and intellectual property management with a focus on contract management and negotiation. Emily has returned to the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine as Centre Manager, Monash Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health where she has strengthened her understanding and interest in contract research and external engagement with government and industry.
