Victorian Injured Worker Outcomes Study

This program of research is in place to determine the long term outcomes of work injury on Victorian workers, identify factors that contribute to poor outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes for workers.

While focussing on workers compensated under the Victorian WorkSafe system, the research will also examine the impacts of long-term injury on other governmental and non-governmental systems such as health, social welfare, unemployment and disability benefit systems.

The project is funded by WorkSafe Victoria via the Institute for Safety Compensation and Recovery Research.
