About the presenter
Dr Nat Lojanapiwat is a GP Academic Registrar. She is working clinically at a GP practice, teaching medical students and doing research in primary care. Her current research project is focused on developing an Endometriosis Management Plan point of care resource for Australian clinicians. Nat is committed to clear and effective patient communication, recognising it as a fundamental component in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. She prioritises educating and actively involving patients in the development of their personalised health management plans. This collaborative approach not only enhances patient understanding and health literacy but also promotes better adherence to treatment protocols, leading to improved outcomes and overall patient satisfaction.
What is Journal Club?
Journal Club is presented by Monash University's Department of General Practice and MonREN (Monash Research and Education Network).
Journal club aims to enhance participants’ understanding of current general practice research in a collaborative and interesting way. You will develop your critical thinking and inquiry skills, while contributing to the advancement of the primary care profession by building a positive research culture.
