Research project: CONSEP
Join world-first RCT study on Conn Syndrome
Do you want to make a real difference to hypertension care?
A GP-led team is testing whether a tweak to clinical software makes it easier to diagnose Primary Aldosteronism (or Conn's Syndrome). Conn Syndrome (Primary Aldosteronism) causes one in every seven cases of hypertension — once found, it makes hypertension far easier to treat. If your practice uses Best Practice™ software and is located in east / south-east Melbourne, Adelaide, or Hobart this study would love to hear from you.
Clinics that take part will receive:
- CPD points for GPs
- $1500 clinic compensation
- GBR software upgrade to assist with pathology ordering in intervention practices.
How can you participate?
Learn more by emailing the CONSEP project manager, or by completing the online Consent to Contact form, and Dr Sajal Saha, Research fellow at Monash Department of General Practice will be in touch with you.
