PEC-ANZ was an NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence with the goal of researching the optimal strategy for health services to deliver ‘the right care, in the right place, at the right time’ for patients who call for an ambulance.
PEC-ANZ was part of the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.

Our team comprised some of the most experienced and renowned Australian researchers from the fields of prehospital emergency care and trauma.
Our research
We conducted evidence-based research to improve the prehospital patient journey, from the 000 experience through to arrival at Emergency.
Our funding
PEC-ANZ was an NHMRC funded Centre of Research Excellence with two fully funded projects exploring treatment for cardiac arrest.
