Community Advisory Group - Breathing Easier Together
Who we are
Breathing Easier Together consists of a group of eight people with personal lived experience of lung conditions and two researchers from Monash University and Alfred Health.
What we do
We are here to enable researchers and community members to work together to support the planning, delivery and communication of respiratory research at Monash University and Alfred Health. This includes but is not limited to:
- Providing feedback during early stages of research project design and plans.
- Reviewing printed or digital material intended for future use with research study participants such as information sheets, flyers, posters, questionnaires and interview questions.
- Reading and writing public summaries of research and discussing ideas for sharing results.
Expressions of interest
If you are a person with a lung condition or have personal experience of caring for someone with a lung condition we are always happy to receive expressions of interest. To express your interest in being involved in this community advisory group, or to ask for further information, please contact Sarah Rawlings (sarah.rawlings@monash.edu) or Arwel Jones (Arwel.jones@monash.edu).
We also encourage contact from researchers working in respiratory research at Monash University or Alfred Health. If you would like to seek support from the community advisory group, please contact Sarah Rawlings (sarah.rawlings@monash.edu) or Arwel Jones (Arwel.jones@monash.edu) and we can discuss your research activities and the support you are seeking.
