International Visiting Fellowship

The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) is pleased to offer its 2027 International Visiting Fellowship. We are an internationally engaged research centre with a strong culture of collaboration, and we regularly host visiting researchers from around the world. The fellowship supports visits that build and deepen research collaborations with CHE researchers.

About the fellowship

The fellowship provides an opportunity to spend time at CHE working closely with academic staff on shared research interests. Visits are centred on active collaboration, with a focus on developing joint research projects.

The fellowship provides support of up to AUD 15,000 to contribute to travel and accommodation in Melbourne. Visiting fellows will also be provided with office space, and computing and library facilities at Monash University’s Caulfield campus during their stay.

Fellows are expected to engage with the Centre researchers during their visit, including participating in seminars and informal research discussions.

Visits must include a minimum of 8 weeks at CHE.

Who should apply?

We welcome applications from researchers with relevant experience in health economics and related fields, including those working in universities, government, and policy or research organisations. Applicants with substantial post-doctoral research experience and a strong research track record are especially encouraged to apply. PhD students are not eligible.

Applicants should identify a CHE academic host and discuss a proposed program of joint work prior to applying.
