Project aims
The team provides advice and formal commentaries and reports on the costs and benefits of new health technologies and services prior to funding on government schemes in Australia and Singapore.
The team has produced over 200 commentaries. Versions of some of these reports are published in peer reviewed journals, but for the most part these reviews, commentaries and original evaluations are confidential and only publicly available in summary form, e.g. PBAC, MSAC. The team has also published on aspects of public decision making in funding and pricing of medicines in Australia and has been involved in a number of economic evaluations of technologies and services as part of randomised clinical trials and studies using observational data.
