Engaging with International Business

Vietnam, 10 – 23 January 2026

About this program

Selected students will be enrolled in unit BEX3727 or BEX5727 for the SSB-01 teaching period.

This unit may count as a capstone or an elective unit in your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

This immersive study tour explores the intersection of business, culture, and sustainability in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies. This two-week experience in Ho Chi Minh City offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of international business by engaging directly with industry leaders, innovative startups, and Australian-Vietnamese trade organisations.

Throughout the tour, you’ll participate in company visits, cultural activities, and guest lectures that may span themes such as digital transformation, renewable energy, global market entry strategies, and financial innovation. You’ll also examine how Vietnam’s historical, political and environmental context shapes its business landscape.

This tour is designed to enhance your global mindset, develop intercultural communication skills, and foster a deeper understanding of emerging markets — all while working collaboratively on a final group project that tackles real-world business challenges.
