Selected students will be enrolled in unit BEX3726 or BEX5726 for the SSB-01 teaching period.
This unit may count as a capstone or an elective unit in your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
This unit provides students with an understanding and awareness of the political, economic and social environment in which business operates in Chile and Argentina. The unit provides students with an awareness of the key debates and on-going challenges faced by these developing Latin American economies and what this means for business.
The unit is composed of seminars and visits to firms and organisations in both Chile and Argentina. In Chile the tour is situated in Santiago, the country’s historic, eclectic and cultural capital, while in Argentina, we are based in the capital Buenos Aires, a vibrant city with rich heritage and culture, both cities underpinned by a strong Latin passion.
