Great Ocean Road
About this program
Selected students will be enrolled in unit BEX3722 or BEX5722 for T1-57.
This unit may count towards your postgraduate or undergraduate degree as a major, capstone, or elective unit.
In this program, students will draw on the knowledge gained throughout their studies to understand business opportunities and successes along the Great Ocean Road coastline, an iconic stretch of land that has much to offer to a range of enterprises. We will look at cases of commercial, social and environmental sustainability in the context of a rapidly changing world as a way of helping students develop critical thinking, decision-making and business planning skills.
This experience will help students plan the construction of their future careers with a particular focus on the role of critical thinking in decision-making and planning. Monash graduate attributes include critical thinking because this broad and complex skill is important in both professional and personal contexts. Students will gain insights into how businesses must often balance competing tensions when evaluating future directions, in an effort to build successful ventures based on this deeper understanding. Additionally, students will learn how changes in the business and social landscape have driven significant transformations.
Students are required to attend learning days on campus on 12 February 2026 and 25 February 2026.
If you have any questions, please direct them to the faculty via Monash Connect.
