India

You'll be based on one of our partner university campuses: the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) or the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), in Mumbai. If you join the India program, you'll be working with local students and organisations to understand the environmental challenges faced by the most populated country in the world. You'll learn from local academics, non-government organisations and businesses to understand the impact rapid urbanisation has had on the natural environment and the communities that inhabit them. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with issues like energy security, India's response to climate change, and gender equality (among others).
