Eligibility
ELIGIBILITY AND ENROLMENT
Who is eligible?
You can enrol in the RED unit and start your interdisciplinary research project in June 2023, if you:
- Are enrolled in an eligible degree (check the list below)
- Have completed at least 36 credit points of study in any discipline, and
- Have at least 6 points of elective credit available.
If you satisfy all of the above requirements, you can enrol in RED through WES today.
This unit is open to second and third-year students, and we welcome enrolments directly into the unit between Monday 10 April - Monday 12 June 2023.

1 If you intend to seek professional accreditation in Accounting or Actuarial studies, you may not be able to fit RED into your course progression.
2 If you intend to major in Interactive media, you may not be able to fit RED into your course progression.
3 If you intend to apply for the Industry Based Learning (IBL) program, you may not be able to fit RED into your course progression.
4 Single degree students (all specialisations except Biomedical engineering) can use one of their two free electives at Level 2 to fit RED into your course progression.
5 If you intend to specialise in Informatics, you may not be able to fit RED into your course progression.
6 RED does not count towards the science component of your double degree.

You can enrol in the RED unit through WES, from Monday 10 April - Monday 12 June 2023.
