Hope City Mission
The Organisation
Hope City Mission is an emergency relief organisation that has been serving Maroondah, Knox and the Yarra Ranges since 2004. Our mandate is to build strong communities by providing a safe place for people in financial hardship to receive support, education, and hope for their current situation. We currently support over 450 families through our various programs.
We provide a Foodbank, financial education, health support, debt negotiation and material aid services to those needing them most. Hope City Mission has developed an Online Learning Portal that enables eligible people to work off their fine debt through Fines Victoria’s Work and Development Permit Scheme.
About the volunteering program
