EdConnect Australia
The Organisation
EdConnect Australia trains and supports volunteers to work in local schools to provide a safety net for young people who might otherwise struggle to realise their potential – in school and life. Volunteers make a life-long impact on students’ lives by “giving back” and sharing their life experience with younger generations.
There are two ways in which volunteers can support
- Mentor Program – One-on-one mentoring for at risk students
- Learning Support – Offering help in classrooms such as numeracy and reading, or simply helping around the school in the library, gardens or breakfast club.
