The Organisation

Waverley Social Enterprises is one of Australia’s largest employers of people with disabilities, providing professional and skill development to over 400 people living with a disability across 5 key commercial streams - packaging, assembly, grounds maintenance, catering and on-site workforce.

With over 40 years experience, we are committed to build stronger communities and opportunities for people living with a disability in a safe, supportive and innovative environment where everyone can thrive and have meaningful work. Our major clients include L’Oreal, Mercedes-Benz, Dulux and Sorbent.

About the volunteering program

At Waverley Social Enterprises, our volunteering program gives you the chance to help people with disabilities build skills, confidence and independence through employment. Monash students can volunteer in the packaging department at Notting Hill, where you will work alongside people with disabilities.

Packaging can involve preparing Aesop gift packs, L’Oreal Mothers day bags, showbags, labelling imported goods for Australian retail sale or even filling wizz-fizz christmas stockings. It is a fun, vibrant and fast faced environment where we encourage you chat with our workmates with disabilities and have some fun.
