Tips for searching
Students can access various professional development opportunities in three ways:
- Explore university-wide training modules by key competencies
- Explore university-wide training modules by career pathways
- Explore discipline-specific training modules offered by faculties*.
Some training modules have a direct links to myDevelopment where students can register or commence the module immediately. Others have links to further information where students and staff can explore training activities and supports on offer.
*Please note that some Faculty activities are also open to students from other faculties and disciplines.
Hear from a PhD graduate
"As part of the Monash PhD, I completed professional development modules in project management and statistics which have both been great. Project management is something I have always been interested in and the session also covered things like teamwork and team culture. The statistics course really improved my confidence and skill when it came to understanding and manipulating large data sets." - Dr Gerard Terradas
