Bringing together the University, Industry and Australia’s leading science agency, CSIRO, the iPhD program provides PhD students with a unique skill set to focus on impact driven research through a co-developed industry research project.

Facts and figures

  • Student stipend scholarship

    Government-funded scholarship of $36,071 p/a (pro rata) provided by CSIRO.

  • Industry top-up scholarship

    Top-up scholarship of $12,000 p/a (pro rata) provided by the Industry Partner.

  • Project expense package

    Additional funding package towards projects costs of up to $13,000 p/a (pro rata).

  • Career development

    Student career and professional development training funded by Government.
