Credit provisions
Credit applications and assessments are governed by the University’s Admission and Credit Policy and its associated Credit Procedure. Credit will not be permitted for the research component of a course and will not reduce the overall course duration for research courses.
Applications for credit are to be made via the Credit Application Form. Please see the Applying for Credit Guidelines for further information.
You can apply for credit at the time of admission or at any time while enrolled in the course. Credit can be on the basis of learning completed before commencing at Monash. You can learn more here.
Credit will not be granted towards a thesis or alternative research component, as per the current Monash University (Academic Board) Regulations.
You should consult with the Graduate Research Coordinator (or equivalent) of the Academic Unit of enrolment for further information. Our Faculty contact list can be found here.
