Aboriginal Health Workers

If you have completed a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice you are eligible to apply to DOTS Nursing or the Monash Indigenous Access Program. The Monash Indigenous Access Program provides foundation study for undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, such as, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Psychology, Radiography and Medical Imaging, Nutrition Science, Paramedicine, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Radiation Sciences, Health Sciences and Biomedicine.

Returning to study

You can apply to the Monash Indigenous Access Program or Indigenous Non-Award Pathway which provide foundation study for undergraduate courses in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, such as, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Psychology, Radiography and Medical Imaging, Nutrition Science, Paramedicine, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Radiation Sciences, Health Sciences and Biomedicine.

For secondary school students

Hands on Health will give you hands-on experience of careers in healthcare. Activities are designed for students in Years 9 to 12, and will help you make decisions and get excited about a health career and study options.
