Surgery
The Department of Surgery is a premier centre for clinical and surgical research and education. In association with the National Trauma Research Institute, our work improves outcomes in a range of areas including burns, trauma, general surgery and spinal injury.
We're part of the Central Clinical School.

Research
Surgical techniques and applications are constantly evolving. We investigate the underlying causes of conditions, and inform how surgeons approach them.

Education
We offer our expertise in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as research projects.
