Our governance structure
Our governance structure brings together experts in clinical trial operations and clinical trial research to place us at the forefront of clinical trial innovation.

Advisory Board
Our Advisory Board is a non-statutory, independent, skills-based board that advises MUCTC on its strategic direction and performance and supports the Centre to achieve its purpose. Membership of the Advisory Board includes representatives from academic, clinical, government, and industry organisations.
Executive Group
Our Executive Group is the key body within the governance structure which is responsible for the business operations associated with MUCTC that are essential to the attainment of the Centre’s objectives. Membership of this Group includes representatives from central University services and the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University.
Scientific Leadership Group
Our Scientific Leadership Group includes experts in scientific, clinical and operations areas. They ensure our clinical trial service provisions are of the highest quality and integrity and relevant to clinical practice.
Community Engagement Committee
Our centre has a community engagement committee that researchers can use to ensure their clinical research is participant focused, successful and meaningful. The group will ensure your study prioritises community engagement in the co-design and co-production of clinical trial research and publication of that research.
Operations Team
Our Operations Team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of MUCTC. This includes all business and administrative functions within the Centre and ensuring key performance targets are met.
Academic Member Network
One of our key advantages as an ARO is the ability to access many academic experts across a wide range of therapeutic and methodological areas.
Our Academic Member Network includes clinicians, researchers and academics who are part of our partner network and have extensive knowledge, expertise, experience and skills in the design, conduct, analysis and translation of clinical trials.
