Services and fee schedule
From July 2026, our supervised student‑led services will be offered as a structured program beginning with an initial consultation, a one‑hour assessment session , and a written assessment summary (Families will be advised by our occupational therapist if more than one hour of assessment is required.)
Following the initial consultation, our occupational therapist will advise whether our supervised student services are suitable for your child. If the service is not suitable, we will refer your child to other occupational therapists to ensure they receive appropriate support.
Children assessed as suitable for supervised student services could access between 4 and 8 individual supervised student sessions. This could be fortnightly or weekly depending on you and your child’s availability.
As the MUCCY clinic aims to provide support to as many children as possible, we can only offer short term support.
At the conclusion of the sessions, you may then either exit the service, transition to another occupational therapy service, or if suitable, your child may also transition into our group program.
The increased cost of the program supports the resources required to deliver high‑quality services, including the time of a registered occupational therapist to supervise students, assessment materials, and everyday therapy resources such as toys and clinical equipment.
| Services | From July 2026 - Supervised Student Sessions |
|---|---|
Initial consultation (This may be Face to face in our clinic or on telehealth) | $ 110 |
| Assessment (1 hour) and summary report | $190 ($110 for 1 hour assessment session + $80 for assessment summary/ analysis of results and recommendations) |
Individual session | $110 To ensure children and families receive meaningful, unrushed support, our standard model is a one‑hour session offered fortnightly or weekly ($110). This is cost‑equivalent to $55 for a 30‑minute session. The one‑hour format provides the time needed for effective services compared with shorter weekly appointments and helps save families travel time and costs. Each child can access between four to eight one‑hour individual sessions, determined in consultation with our occupational therapists and dependent on the frequency |
