Feasibility and Experiences of Delivering an Exercise Program to People Living with Dementia in the Community in Indonesia
Yulisna Mutia Sari is an international PhD student and a physiotherapist from Indonesia, undertaking research in the Monash Rehabilitation Ageing and Independent Living (RAIL) Research Centre under the supervision of Professor Keith Hill, Dr. Elissa Burton (Curtin University) and Dr. Angel Lee (Monash University). Her main project is investigating the feasibility, safety and effectiveness of a remotely delivered (telehealth) exercise program on community-dwelling older people with dementia in Indonesia and exploring the perception and experiences of older people with dementia and caregivers in participating in the exercise program. Yulisna also conducts a national survey as part of her project to explore current physiotherapy practice with people with dementia in Indonesia.
