Monash Malaysia podcast
In May 2025, RAIL researcher and former inaugural Director Professor Keith Hill travelled to Malaysia to undertake a range of collaborative activities including a podcast episode of the Future Conversations hosted by Monash University Malaysia titled "Ageing in Malaysia Addressing Challenges and Embracing Opportunities".
The discussion was facilitated by Professor Meera Sivasothy, and included as discussants Professor Keith Hill, Professor Pei Lee Teh (Director of Gerontechnology Lab, Monash University Malaysia), YB Rajiv Rishyakaran (State Assemblyman for Bukit Gasin, Selangor State Assembly, Malaysia) and Anna Chew, CEO of Meaningful Life (who has established a number of senior care centres in Malaysia).
During this insightful podcast, the guest speakers discussed issues associated with ageing well, relevant to Malaysia, but also other countries including Australia.
