Capture, Store and Manage Research Data
To ensure research data availability and integrity, researchers need to effectively handle their data, including secure storage and backing up their data. This capability provides researchers with solutions for capturing data from instruments and experiments, handling it correctly and sharing it for reuse.

 | Monash Research Data Storage (RDS): Supports Monash researchers throughout the data lifecycle — from project planning and data capture to long-term archiving. The service helps identify data sensitivity, guides storage options, and facilitates external transfers. It provisions both Public (Market: online disk) and Restricted (Vault: nearline tape/archive) storage classes, engages support teams when needed, and reports usage to users and management. It supports all digital formats and is accessible to Monash researchers and their collaborators. Store.Monash supports both Public and Restricted research data – but it is not for enterprise data.
