Electronic lab notebook (ELN)
Monash University has adopted the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) LabArchives to replace traditional paper research notebooks. LabArchives provides researchers with a secure platform for improved workflow and connectivity. The Professional Edition is freely available to all Monash research staff and research students.

- Data security – data is centrally stored including historical versions of every file, recording the date, time and username kept for auditing.
- Seamless – files, photos and documents can be moved directly into LabArchives and stored.
- Software integration – LabArchives integrates with tools like RedCap, GraphPad Prism, Figshare, PubMed, PubChem, Microsoft Office (365), SnapGene and ChemDoodle.
