John Hull

John Hull is currently a technology and IP partner with London firm Memery Crystal LLP. He is Visiting Professorial Fellow in Intellectual Property at Queen Mary College, the University of London, Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Brand and Innovation law, University College London where he teaches the IP Commercialisation course. He is also visiting lecturer at the IP Academy Singapore where he has taught courses on technology transfer and on Trade Secrets.
John has practical experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious IP and IT law and in related aspects of data privacy. He has been involved in leading cases in the English High Court, the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. He is the author of a leading text on the law relating to Commercial Secrets and the author of many articles, notes and reviews in academic and professional journals. He has spoken extensively at conferences and seminars Worldwide. His particular interests are in the law of trade secrets, data privacy and privacy generally and in commercial aspects of intellectual property including technology transfer.
