The Monash Business School Department of Business Law and Taxation (BLT) PhD program offers the opportunity to work with leading business law scholars on projects that make a genuine and substantive impact on global economic, environmental and social challenges. Our researchers draw on the perspectives and methods of other business disciplines in addition to law to solve these challenges.
Our researchers specialise in a variety of research areas, including Asian and comparative business regulation, company law and litigation, international trade and commercial law, labour and human rights, law and environmental sustainability, law and technology, regulatory theory and practice, tax law and policy.
The PhD program features a coursework unit, Research strategies and methods in business law, which will grant you the skills and proficiency to conduct HDR research in business law.
Your studies will culminate in a written thesis that significantly contributes to the current body of knowledge in your area of study.
