International and comparative human resource management

People at work in a global context.

Our research addresses a wide range of issues in international Human Resource Management (HRM), comparative HRM, and cross-cultural management. Our research has contributed to understanding the impact of international business and globalisation on HRM in emerging economies such as China, including changes in their human resource and labour management policies and practices and implications for both theory-development and managerial practices. Further, our scholarship covers the HRM policies and practices of multinational enterprises in their host country subsidiaries, such as Chinese MNEs operating in Australia.
