Management Education and Learning
We examine management education and learning from a range of perspectives and in various contexts. We explore students’ management education and learning and how these affect their experience. We also investigate academics’ and educators’ experiences of management education and learning and the higher education context. From these perspectives, we also propose new approaches for enhancing management education and learning.
Our work significantly contributes to management education and learning by improving practices, advancing knowledge, and empowering individuals. Through empirical and conceptual research, we address emerging issues, explore new perspectives, and provide valuable insights into the experiences of academics, educators, and students. Our findings support professional development initiatives, enhance pedagogical approaches, and contribute to theoretical advancements. By fostering a deeper understanding and driving positive change, we empower individuals involved in management education, ultimately shaping a brighter future for the field.
Our peer-reviewed research has been published and highly cited across top education journals, including Academy of Management Learning & Education, Educational Research Review, Higher Education, Teaching and Learning in Nursing, and Nurse Education Today. And more broadly, in top discipline journals, such as Organization, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Research, Event Management, and Journal of Knowledge Management.
Many of our core members are on the editorial board of the Academy of Management Learning and Education, and all of our members are regular reviewers for education research in their respective fields. Some of our members are senior fellows or fellows of the Advance Higher Education: Higher Education Academy (UK).
