The A*STAR Graduate Academy provides scholarships and fellowships to enable young aspiring scientific talent to pursue their passion in science at top global universities and prepare them for a rewarding career in R&D.
Scholarships such as the National Science Scholarship are for Singaporean citizens/permanent residents seeking to undertake a research degree.
The Research Attachment Programme (ARAP) provides funding for currently enrolled PhD students to undertake part of their degree at an A*STAR Research Institute in Singapore.

The AusIMM Education Endowment Fund (EEF) provides funding to attract and support students undertaking course of study appropriate to a career in the minerals industry. Apply for an EFF scholarship now and you could receive:

The Heart Foundation offers funding for research conducted primarily in Australia. The Health Professional scholarship aims to encourage and support cardiovascular health professionals to undertake a PhD. The PhD may be in any area of cardiovascular research, including biomedical, clinical, public health and health services research.

NHMRC minimum data closing date: Minimum data must be entered in NHMRC’s granting system Sapphire by 13 May 2026 to allow NHMRC to start identifying suitable peer reviewers. Applications that fail to satisfy this requirement will not be accepted.

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) offers scholarships to support outstanding health and medical graduates early in their career so they can be trained to conduct research that is internationally competitive and develop a capacity for original independent research within Australia. The intended outcome of the Postgraduate Scholarships scheme is to build research capacity within Australia.
